Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

 

 

The Director, Business Intelligence (BI) will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of enterprise-wide data and analytics initiatives, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will translate complex healthcare and operational data into actionable insights that drive clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. The Director will oversee the development and optimization of BI platforms, data governance frameworks, and reporting solutions, while cultivating a high-performing business intelligence team. 

 

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep healthcare BI and analytics expertise, proven leadership experience, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. 

 

  • Strategic Leadership 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive BI and analytics strategy aligned with organizational goals. 
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities where analytics can improve outcomes, reduce costs, and optimize operations. 
  • Establish and maintain a BI roadmap that supports scalability and innovation. 
  • Analytics & Reporting Excellence 
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of reporting and dashboard solutions that support clinical, operational, and financial decision-making. 
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulations. 
  • Drive innovation in analytics tools, data visualization, and self-service reporting capabilities. 
  • In close partnership with the IT teams, develop Enterprise-Wide Database solutions to create scalable data models with AI integration capabilities.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement 
  • Partner with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to define data needs, key metrics, and performance measures. 
  • Present insights, trends, and strategic recommendations to executives and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. 
  • Data Governance & Quality 
  • Champion data governance initiatives, ensuring consistent data definitions, standards, and processes across the organization. 
  • Monitor and refine data quality processes to ensure reliability for business-critical decisions. 
  • Team Leadership 
  • Manage and mentor a team of analysts.
  • Oversee hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development. 
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and analytical excellence.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, Statistics, Business, or a related field. 
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, BI, or data strategy, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-fuctional teams and manage complex analytics projects.
  • Expertise in BI platforms (e.g. Tableau, Power Bi, Looker) and SQL-based data environments.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data standards, reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated, including showing proper documentation, or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Company’s exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment.

It would be great if you had:

 

  • Master’s degree or advanced certification in analytics, healthcare informatics, or related field.
  • Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
  • Demonstrated success building BI capabilities in a high-growth or rapidly scaling organization.
