Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

 

The Clinical Supervisor (Therapist) provides oversight and supervision to behavioral health professionals at our Phoenix, AZ location. This role is pivotal in ensuring that clinical services meet state standards and are delivered effectively to our clients.

  • Clinical Supervision:

    • Provide direct, face-to-face clinical supervision to supervisees, ensuring compliance with Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiner (AZBBHE) regulations.

  • Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate and timely records of supervision sessions, including session notes and progress reports.

  • Compliance:

    • Ensure all clinical practices adhere to AZBBHE rules, including those related to supervised private practice and clinical supervision documentation.

  • Training & Development:

    • Offer guidance and training to supervisees, fostering professional growth and adherence to best practices.

  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with clinical leadership to align clinical services with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting:

    • Submit required supervision reports to the AZBBHE and Program Manager within stipulated timelines.

  • Documentation & Compliance:
    • Provide contemporaneous written documentation for each clinical supervision session, including:
      • Date and duration of the session
      • Detailed description of topics discussed
      • Name and signature of the supervisee
      • Name and signature of the clinical supervisor
      • Indication of whether the session was individual or group-based
      • Conduct ongoing compliance reviews of the supervisee’s clinical documentation to ensure adequacy
      • Provide instruction in assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan development, and treatment
      • Rate the supervisee’s overall performance, using a form approved by the AZ Board of Behavioral Health
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 What You'll Bring:

 

  • Unrestricted active, independent-level license in Arizona (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist) in the relevant discipline and required by the AZBBHE.

  • Current member of AZBBHE Clinical Supervisor Registry in good standing.

  • Three or more years’ experience providing behavioral health services, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.

  • Certification of completion of the Clinical Supervision Tutorial on Arizona Statutes/Regulations as mandated by AZBBHE.

  • Must be physically located in Arizona during supervision sessions.

  • The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated, including showing proper documentation, or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Company’s exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment

It would be great if you had:

  • Knowledge of and experience with the AZ Title-36 legal process
