Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

 

 

The Business Development Associate supports the execution of growth strategies by assisting with prospecting, relationship management, proposal development, and internal project coordination. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of business development operations and maintaining alignment with strategic growth goals. 

 

  • Leads and generates market research:
    • Conducts research on potential markets, customers, and competitors and compiles available public and other data sources to support ongoing analysis of market opportunities and market trends, such as health plan membership, quality, behavioral health, and other data
    • Performs and synthesizes market research to develop competitive, regulatory, and growth insights; proactively maintains up-to-date knowledge of competitors and trends
    • Maintains prospect lists and assists in outreach campaigns
  • Relationship Management Support:
    • Coordinates meetings and communications with partners, payors, and referral sources
    • Prepares background materials and follow-up documentation for BD meetings
  • Proposal and Presentation Support:
      • Develops client-facing materials to support all phases of the sales cycle, including developing partner marketing materials, proposals/RFP, and managing client data requests and analysis to support partnership discussions
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, health care, management, or related business field
  • Experience conducting in depth market research/analysis and synthesizing to drive strategy
  • Ability to independently drive projects and work cross-functionally
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, experience in database and programming is a plus (e.g., Access, SQL, etc.)
  • Strong project and people management skills
  • Ability to influence senior executives
  • The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated, including showing proper documentation, or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Company’s exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment.

It would be great if you had:

 

  • Exiting professional network in behavioral health
  • Working understanding of medical coding and billing
  • Working understanding of Managed Medicaid
  • Prior experience in behavioral health and/or health care services
  • Working experience in financial modeling
