Our story

Originally founded by two emergency room psychiatrists, Dr. Chris Carson and Dr. Robert Williamson, Connections Health Solutions brings 30 years of experience serving individuals in crisis and operates two of the nation’s largest and most studied crisis response centers and is currently expanding to more states.  Since opening our doors we have provided care and treatment for hundreds of thousands of individuals in crisis.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

 

This position demonstrates technical knowledge of infrastructure and communications processes and supports objectives relative to the company’s business and healthcare requirements. Interacts as part of a team and can plan, design, implement and support company Information Technology infrastructure, networks, hardware and applications.

  • Provides technical support to maintain, monitor and troubleshoot technical systems that are associated with providing critical patient care.  Identifies, investigates, tracks, and resolves multilevel project, system or application/server/system errors ensuring the solution is timely and of acceptable quality. Provides on-call technical support as needed.
  • Leads or participates in scheduled projects that require interactions between various customers, departments, and hardware/software vendors.  Provides input to project plans, work schedules, and critical timelines.  Participates as part of a team to assemble information for capital or operating budget planning or other specifications and documents.
  • Plans, design, implements, maintains, and supports company Information Technology infrastructure, networks, hardware and applications, while ensuring security.  Ensures security through software, hardware, backups and policy. 
  • Works effectively as a team lead or member of the department or project groups. Demonstrates teamwork by participating and performing tasks as defined by the team, project, director, or lead.
  • Produces technical input for designs to complex processes for presentation to leadership, committees, or team members. 
  • Interacts with the customer, from a variety of departments, to research and develop solutions to support issues resulting in a positive experience for the customer.  Participates in the preparation of fully integrated testing scenarios. Analyzes information systems across multiple levels and states and their relationships. Provides information to be considered as part of the comprehensive testing plans.  Creates application/server/system and end user documentation following applicable department, company and industry standards and policies.
  • Provides technical information regarding current and future industry concepts, hardware, and software.  Maintains a current professional and technical knowledge relating to the healthcare industry by attending educational workshops/conferences, establishing personal networks, and/or maintaining relevant certification or licensure as business needs require
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field OR
  • Associates/Vocational degree in related field and 2 years of IT experience OR
  • Equivalent combination of relevant education, technical, business, and healthcare experience and certifications with at least 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with administering Windows servers, windows endpoints, systems, network administration, and building/maintain IT security administration.

 

It would be great if you had:

  • Proficiency with Windows server 2012 or higher; windows 10; and Cisco devices, including ASA administration and Meraki
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting

The typical hiring range for this role in Washington is $81,132 - $102,188 annually.
