Our story

Originally founded by two emergency room psychiatrists, Dr. Chris Carson and Dr. Robert Williamson, Connections Health Solutions brings 30 years of experience serving individuals in crisis and operates two of the nation’s largest and most studied crisis response centers and is currently expanding to more states.  Since opening our doors we have provided care and treatment for hundreds of thousands of individuals in crisis.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

 

The Sr. HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) serves as the people operations leader for assigned facility/facilities. This role includes both strategic & process responsibilities – revising, planning, influencing, and processing of important procedures and policies. Success in this role will require influential partnership with senior leadership, people managers and employees within the organization to execute the HR strategies that foster organizational and people effectiveness.

 

As a strategic partner, the Sr. HRBP aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated departments, facilities, markets and/or divisions. You will work with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

 

The Sr. HRBP may be assigned division-wide projects and initiatives and serves as consultant to management on Human Resource related issues. This includes but is not limited to employee relations, labor relations, performance management, training, policy application, organizational development, workforce planning, ADA interactive process and compensation.

 

  • Responsible for the quality and responsiveness of the overall delivery of all HR services to the assigned business unit.
  • Supports HR team efforts to develop, maintain and administer human resources policies, procedures, and practices.  Establishes, builds, and maintains strong relationships with key HR partners to ensure elements of HR are successfully coordinated to meet and exceed business needs.
  • Serves as initial point of contact to address, manage, and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Collaborates, reviews, and approves corrective action measures to ensure consistency of policies and guidelines.
  • Maintains working knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Conducts weekly meetings with site leadership to proactively address employee concerns.
  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders at each location within the designated territory (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Anats as needed to achieve assigned site KPI’s.lyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Provides data for balanced scorecard and suppor
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. Anticipates potential impact and need and advises accordingly.
  • Responsible for all areas of people operations support, employee concerns, policy interpretation, training, compliance, corrective action procedures, and hiring/termination support. 
  • Collaborates with HR team to develop and implement best practices in areas such as employee relations, policy development, guidance, and interpretation.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • 5 years of progressive experience in human resources with a specialization in employee relations
  • Exceptional coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Extensive expertise handling sophisticated employee relations issues, including workplace investigations.
  • Proven planning, priority setting, and time management skills.
  • Flexible, self-starter, able to manage multiple ongoing projects without close supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS or related software.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, DEIB, organizational diagnosis, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion.

It would be great if you had:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • SPHR/SHRM-SCP certification
  • Healthcare industry experience
